What we collect
xype stores the account email and display name you provide, subscription status, and the identifiers needed to securely activate your Windows computer. Payments are processed by Polar; xype does not store your card details.
Optional product analytics
With your consent, xype uses PostHog EU Cloud to understand visits, downloads, checkout progress, and product milestones. We use a random browser attribution ID and campaign parameters. We do not fingerprint you, send your email to analytics, or enable session recording.
Public presets
When you publish a preset, its name, settings, publish date, and your account display name become public. Your email is not shown. You can delete presets you published.
How we use it
We use account data only to provide authentication, billing, device activation, presets, support, fraud prevention, and the xype service. Your videos are processed locally and are not uploaded to us.
Service providers
We use Neon for database hosting, Resend for transactional email, Polar for payments, PostHog EU Cloud for consented analytics, and Upstash for abuse prevention.
Your choices
You may decline analytics and manage billing and devices from your account. To request access, correction, or deletion of account data, contact hello@xype.gg.
